Today the Loving Hut crew ventured into the land of Olympia to see what new vegan things they could find.
The Allergy Show is ending tomorrow so we highly recommend you go and have a peek at all the (weird) and wonderful things/products people are making. There were lots of things to see, lots of new products and lots of free tasters to help us buy stuff; we ended up buying oodles of things.
Amongst all the business, the highlight of the day was meeting Ms. Cupcake. The lady is someone to admire; she makes really good mouthwatering cupcakes and to make the picture complete, she is really really lovely. Needless to say we bought lots of vegan cupcakes and troffed the lot as soon as we got the opportunity. Can’t wait for another encounter.
Another highlight was eating super duper cheesy cheese from Vegusto. Mark, who is running the show (also a very nice guy), brings us vegan cheese that is actually really very much like the taste and smell of cheese. It is so nice that Vegusto has won the FreeFrom Food Award 2012. Vegusto has a range of vegan cheeses to try, including a melting one. Pizza anyone? We were very impressed and we loved that the names of the cheese started off with ‘No Moo’.
We had such a lovely time we are sending the other half of Loving Hut staff tomorrow so they can be excited too!

Our customers are very interesting so we thought we would write a little post about them to share with you.
Today’s interesting customer is Vigneshwaran Cumareshan.
Mr Vigneshwaran Cumareshan is a skilled origami artist.
Mysterious origami surprises were found around in our restaurant and we soon discovered that it was Vigneshwaran who was our mystery man!
We love finding little surprises.

So we’ve just celebrated new year and guess what?
Chinese New Year is coming up on the 23rd Jan this year. It’s early and it’s another cause for celebration!
We are looking forward to yummy traditional chinese dishes, dim sum, jasmine tea and everything that is the colour red.
Let’s see how many people wear something red on that day!
